GenX Dance Party's ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!
October is the season for 80s & 90s New Wave, Alternative & Goth Music!There are so many elder goths and & a surprising number of young goths lurking around the Olympic Peninsula. This is our night! Grab your friends, family or dance solo, and join us at the Moderate-to-Severe GenX Dance Party for an early evening of the best music the 80s and 90s had to offer.
This is not your typical bar or nightclub, Studio Bob is a fabulous community art space and gallery-turned-nightclub once a month. Our "nightclub" is designed to be a judgment-free zone where you can let loose, express yourself, and groove to the music without hesitation. Our dance parties are typically 85% women or female-presenting, freely dancing the early evening night away without anyone bothering them.
Times
4 pm - 7 pm - Studio Bob's Loom Lounge is open (free) to hang out. This is open to anyone all ages until 7 pm, no cover charge needed until 7 pm.
7 pm – 10 pm – Let's Dance!!! (cover charge required)
10 pm + You don't have to go home but you can't stay here
Wine, beer, tasty custom cocktails made from wine & beer, as well as delicious mocktails and non-alcoholic drinks and snacks will be available for purchase at The Loom, Studio Bob's comfortable and intimate bar space.
Studio Bob is not ADA accessible, there is a long staircase up to the venue. If you would like to discuss accessibility options, please contact us on Studio Bob's website or any social media messaging.

Wear whatever you wish, our dance floor is plentiful in compliments and free from judgement.
Want to bring out your goth/new wave style? Please do!
Want to wear jeans and a t-shirt? Yes please!
Just got off work? Get your feet on the dance floor wearing what you're in!
Sensible shoe choices are a great option for everyone, such as Converse, high-tops, combat boots.
No oppressive groups or symbols are allowed in the club.
Celebrating a BIRTHDAY or EVENT?
Let us know by contacting us here or on social media, tell us how many people you expect and we'll set up a seating area just for you. Need a party table in the Loom Lounge to help celebrate (ex: cake, gifts)? We got you. Want a DJ shout-out or to pre-request a song for the person you're celebrating? Gotta tell us at least a week in advance and it's on!
